A Walkway with Aesthetic Appeal
Between Parq Casino and BC Place is a walkway that bridges the two buildings and brings the back wall of the casino to a place of much greater visibility. The challenge for the developer and the architect was to make the two buildings look cohesive, given the heavy foot traffic on the walkway.
On the casino side, the wall is clad with five custom engineered LKMe panel profiles designed by the architect to give the appearance of a random facade. With LKMe’s design flexibility and budget-friendly solutions, the end result is a back area that complements the impressive finishes on the front of the building, creating a harmonious look.
